About

Tanner

Tanner was born under a blood red moon in the highlands of Idaho, in a place they call Moscow. His parents moved around much and eventually settled in a small Vermont town. Growing up on a dead-end dirt road - he honed his brooding and loner skills. It also led to a very active imagination. In elementary school he would always be off pretending to be something other than what and who he was. Strange kid.

Acting was always fun for him. One of his first productions in elementary school was that of the King in “Rumplestiltskin”. The desire to act on stage kindled early and stay lit.

Flash forward to age 15 - learning to play the guitar and getting into bands only kindled more creative visions and acting continued. Singing became possible at this point and musical theater opened new realms.

He shot several crappy short movies on digital video while he lived in Burlington, Vermont. To this day - Butterbar is the only one that remains intact, although now living in California he has found it much easier to find like minded creative people to work with, including composers. Butterbar is in the hands of a composer now, awaiting an original score.

It wasn’t until November 15, 2006 that Tanner finally called California home. A fast learner, he has figured out a lot of what they call Hollywood. He knows he has more to learn but he’s here to play.
